The Stonewing
At the city’s heart lies the petrified last griffin around whose fallen body Griffhold grew. Knights touch a stone feather worn smooth by generations, then walk back into a world where no wings remain to cover them.
Griffhold is the white capital of Gavrion and the surviving body of a knight-world that no longer possesses the force that built it. Its halls still rank, its seals still bind responsibility, and its empty roosts still wait for wings that will never return.
It is not white because it is innocent. It is white because every stain must be seen.
At the city’s heart lies the petrified last griffin around whose fallen body Griffhold grew. Knights touch a stone feather worn smooth by generations, then walk back into a world where no wings remain to cover them.
The Hall of Oaths, White Petrified Library, White War Room, Dawn Duel Court, chapel wells, and walls of held names make the capital an institution of memory rather than a clean heroic monument.
