Greater Gavrion was not a larger current kingdom. It was a southern knight-civilization of Roads, halls, military responsibilities, and shared recognition. Current Gavrion is its surviving core, not its unchanged continuation.
The Houses remained. The Roads did not.
The older system joined Sky, Earth, Bow, and Blade as complete civilizational responsibilities. The current Houses carry their strongest surviving residues, but a House is not an Ancient Way and survival is not restoration.
Varyel Vale is an ancient healing-and-ritual House concerned with care, mourning, witness, and human preservation. It must never be presented as a Fifth Lost Road.
